Albert Koopman helping make homemade ice-cream
You may know him as The Maytag Man, The Hit and Miss Engine club president (inside joke), or by his name Albert Koopman, this month's spotlight goes to Albert. He is a U.S Army Veteran and has been a member of this club for many many years, he has an amazing collection of Maytag engines that he displays at our spring and fall shows. as well as some very interesting Ottawa drag saw displays that he has setup at our shows. he helps with the homemade ice-cream, as well as the cider press that shows up in the fall. But that's not all the hats that he wears he also kind of heads up the hit and miss engine displays by making sure those spots are open for all the members with engines to be able to setup their engine displays in relatively the same area, so that it's kind of organized. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to hit and miss engines.
Ozarks Older Iron club would also like to say Thank you for your service to our country Albert.
