Tractor Games General Rules

The OOIC Tractor games committee is Committed to providing a unique and fun experience thru tractor games for all to participate in and enjoy watching. We have constructed a list of rules to keep the spectators and competitors safe while enjoying the experience of watching and competing in the tractor games.

Terminology.

Tractor operator(s)- is defined as the person physically driving the tractor.

Spectator(s)- is defined as anyone who is not participating in the Games but is there to watch.

Safe Zone- is defined as the area that safety officers and judges have decided is safe to stage at until your turn.

General Rules:

  1. Kids From Age 6 to 16 must have a current youth drivers safety course completion card for that year in order to participate in the games.

  2. Unless the game calls for a different gear all games will be played in 1st or 2nd gear.

  3. If the safety officers or judges tell you to stop you must stop. (they may see something that could be a safety hazard) Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification from the remaining games and possibility of being ban from the games for up to 1 year at the discretion of the Tractor games Committee and safety officers.

  4. Tractor operators must remain seated while driving the tractor.

  5. Spectators are not allowed to be across the blocks on the track while the games are going.

  6. Competitors who are not currently competing are to wait at the opposite end of the track in the safe zone with their tractors.

  7. All competitors must have working brakes on their tractors.

  8. All competitors must have a working kill switch within reach of the operator.

  9. All tractors will be subject to technical inspections at any time by safety officers and judges for safety and unauthorized modifications.

  10. No hot-rodding allowed in track area or show grounds.

  11. No driving of tractors in spectator area.

  12. No alcohol allowed on show grounds.

  13. Safety officers and track officials have the last say on safety concerns and violations of rules.
